Well, we cleared all the hurdles and made it to Antigua. Above is a picture of the view from the living room of our new "home away from home," overlooking the deck and the Atlantic ocean.
If you look toward the bottom right, you can see how Adventure Girl 'goes to school' these days. Daytime temperatures are in the low 80s. Off to her right is the infinity pool (see below) she'll be enjoying as her after-school activity. If she fancies some waves, she'll head down to the private beach below with Action Boy and Danger Girl and swim until the sun sets over the water.
Needless to say: This place is better than any picture could capture, and even better than imagined!

The adventure is over, and my opinion is the same. Here is the review I posted to Trip Advisor:
This place was not as advertised – it was way better! How often can you say that in life? The pictures don't even do it justice.
Imagine waking up every morning to a postcard view of a gorgeous green-blue expanse of ocean, then sitting on your deck (you know, the one with the amazing infinity pool that looks like it is falling off into the ocean?) and sipping your tea or coffee as a little white sailboat cruises by in the distance, exactly on time to perfect your morning joy.
Later that evening, imagine lounging in that deliciously cool infinity pool sipping a cocktail as you experience a breathtaking sunset over the ocean.
Yeah, that was every day at Tamarind Hills.
Not only that, we also had an upper deck off the main bedrooms with that same amazing view and a patio on the level below with sunbathing chairs off the guest bedroom. And that's not all! A few steps from that patio? A private beach just for Tamarind Hills residents.
Tamarind Beach too small for you? No problem. Take a left and visit Darkwood Beach, perfect for kids with its floating obstacle course/jungle gym. Or take a right instead, go down the boardwalk, and you're at Fryes Beach -- a long beach of endless soft sand (and occasional rainbows!) ending in a convenient little beach-side restaurant with a delicious selection of foods.
Not making this up! On nights we didn't grill at home, that was a favorite spot for an easy meal. Of course, a short drive away was Jolly Harbour, a great little community with bars and restaurants on the water, live music and a fully stocked grocery store.
We stayed at Tamarind Hills for a month as part of a "work from paradise" experiment, and -- as you can tell -- the experience was beyond all expectations. It was everything we hoped for and then some. In addition to the above, the unit had plenty of room, excellent AC, daily (first-rate) maid service, a gated entrance manned 24/7 by friendly security, and (most important for us) reliable WiFi that was able to accommodate three children doing online school and two remote-working parents.
If you're looking for a home away from home in paradise, especially for a longer stay, this is the place for you!
